Hello, I'm Lindsey

I work with individuals who may look functional on the outside but internally find themselves thinking, “I know better — so why do I keep doing this?”

Many of my clients are capable, insightful people who are used to taking care of everyone else and holding it together. Yet they still find themselves repeating the same patterns — over-functioning, people-pleasing, overthinking, or losing touch with what they actually want and need. I'm warm, direct, curious, and collaborative. I believe therapy can hold difficult and painful things while still leaving room for humor, joy, and genuine human connection.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is client-centered, relational, and developmental. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or behaviors, I'm interested in understanding how you became who you are — early relationships, attachment experiences, trauma, family dynamics, and the ways you learned to adapt continue to shape how you relate to yourself and others today.

I believe most of our patterns developed for a reason. Therapy isn't about judging those parts of you or trying to turn you into someone else. It's about getting curious about what those patterns have been doing for you, developing compassion for how you got here, and helping you build new ways of responding that fit the life and relationships you want now.

And because you can understand why you do something and keep doing it, I incorporate somatic and experiential work to help create change beyond insight alone.

Modalities I Draw From

  • Person-Centered and Relational Therapy

  • Psychodynamic and Attachment-Based Therapy

  • Developmental and Trauma-Informed Approaches

  • Brainspotting

  • Somatic and Nervous-System-Informed Interventions

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Polyvagal-Informed Approaches

  • Psychoeducation

Who I Work With

Individual Therapy

One-on-one therapy for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and attachment wounds — as well as those looking to better regulate their emotions, understand their patterns, and develop healthier, more compassionate ways of coping and relating.

Professional Experience

My clinical career began in private practice, working primarily with adults navigating complex trauma, attachment wounds, substance use, and longstanding patterns of over-functioning and emotional dysregulation.

A Personal Note

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than 20 years working in hospitality marketing and brand management. That experience gives me a particular understanding of high-pressure professional environments, achievement, burnout, and what it can feel like to build a life that looks successful from the outside while realizing something internally needs to change.

Let's Begin

If something here resonates, Lindsey would love to hear from you. Reaching out is the first step — and you don't need to have it all figured out before you do.
